AgricAdvisors has set itself the mission of developing eco-friendly solutions for sustainable agriculture in Africa. We aim to address today’s agricultural challenges through useful, relevant innovation tailored to local realities and conditions.
To this end, we have conducted numerous studies across various areas of agricultural production to identify the key levers that can support the development of our agriculture. During one of our studies on improving food safety, we realized that the lack of training, information, and awareness regarding pesticide use could seriously affect both the quality of the food we consume and the health of farmers.
Thus, after several months of work, we are proud to have developed a functional, viable, and useful solution that supports agricultural development and protects public health.
iGrow by AgricAdvisors is a mobile application that enables users to:
- Identify plant health issues and learn about alternative control methods to combat them effectively.
- Search for approved plant protection products and learn more about usage precautions.
- Locate authorized sales outlets to ensure legal and safe procurement.
Our digital solution was launched in 2023, and the positive feedback received so far motivates us to continue improving this agritech innovation so that it becomes an essential tool for farmers and other stakeholders in the phytosanitary value chain in Cameroon.
